Does the F-150 PowerBoost hybrid need to be plugged in?
No. PowerBoost is a full hybrid that charges its own 1.5 kWh battery through regenerative braking and the gas engine while you drive. You fill it at a normal pump: no charging cable, no home equipment.
Can Pro Power Onboard run tools at a job site?
Yes. The 7.2 kW system delivers 7,200 watts through bed outlets, including a 240-volt outlet, enough to run an air compressor, a circular saw and battery chargers at once instead of a generator.
What wheel sizes come on the 2026 Ford F-150?
The XL rides on 17-inch steel wheels, the STX on 18-inch gloss black aluminum, the XLT on 17- or 18-inch by drive type, King Ranch and Platinum on 20-inch. The 22-inch wheels come only with the STX Lobo Package.
